Introduction
Our lesson in this class is a bit unusual because usually what I do is show you excerpts from the film and then discuss those excerpts in detail. But in this class, I am instead going to show you the entire film in ten sections, one after another. I am doing this not only because Frankenstein is the first film we will actually see in its entirety, but also to keep the continuity of the film.

Frankenstein is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, of all horror films and it deserves to be shown with minimal interruption so that you can appreciate the genius that went into the making of this film. The only reason I am breaking it up into ten sections is so that it will be easier for you to download section by section and so that when I do lecture on the film or ask questions, it will be easier for you to find the section I am referring to. So, without further delay, let us begin the screening of the great classic film, Frankenstein (1931), in its entirety.
